FAQs
Q: How do I pick-up my participant from the High School?
When the program takes place at the high school, parents are asked to use Door #4 for pick up. Participants will be located in the PE Classroom. If you do not see your participant, please give the program cell phone a call at 262-903-9533. On Tuesdays & Thursdays, participants will walk to the Aquatic Center and utilize the pool starting at 1:30 pm. Please pick up at the Aquatic Center on those designated days.
Q: What is served for lunch?
When the program takes place at the High School, participants will be encouraged to enjoy the free lunch program that will take place after summer school. If participants select not to utilize the free lunch program, please be sure to pack a brown bag lunch that doesn't need to be refrigerated. Participants will meet in the program room first and then enjoy lunch as a group.
When the program takes place at the Armory Art Studio, please be sure to bring a brown bag lunch daily. This location does not have a full-size fridge for lunch storage.
Q: What shoes are appropriate?
We walk... a lot... flip flops are great. Sometimes shoes are a good thing, too.
Q: What about sunscreen & water?
The kids will have sunscreen on them every day. It would be greatly appreciated if you would send a labeled bottle for your child. We lather it on as much as possible!
For water, please send a labeled water bottle with your child as often as possible.
Q: When do the kids go swimming?
While the program takes place at the High School, innovation campers will get to enjoy multiple swim days at the Aquatic Center. Swimming days of the week are Tuesday and Thursday starting at 1:30 pm.
